The Giant Killer
Danny Padilla is one of the best, most complete bodybuilders ever to grace the stage. At the height of 5’2″, the magazines dubbed him “Giant Killer” because of his ability to defeat much taller competitors. Danny was one of the top bodybuilders in the seventies, winning the 1977 Mr. America and Mr. Universe. However, many argue saying he achieved the greatest shape of his life in the 1981, Mr. Olympia, placing an awe-inspiring but disappointing 5th place. He continued as the Giant Killer through a third decade, placing third in the 1990 Night of Champions, defeating many of the top names of that era, which solidified Danny as one of the most timeless bodybuilding icons.
